Tuesday 10/22

Today we used Notes #26 to learn how to solve quadratic equations by factoring.


ax2 + bx + c = 0
(x + ?)(x + ?)

Remember to factor the quadratic equation first, then use the Zero Product Property (ab = 0) to find the two values that make each set of parenthesis equal to zero. If that last sentence didn't make sense to you, you've got some studying you need to do (the notes and the link above can help).
